Beauty Treats!

Hello my lovelies!

Over the weekend, I was out meeting some friends, they were a little late so was wondering round the shops and couldn't help myself of buying these beauty treats, I have been wanting these for ages but never got round to actually purchasing them and trying them out - im so glad I did.

Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel by Clinique

This is a beautiful moisturiser by Clinique, I have wanted to try their products for a while now especially their skincare range, of course price points are always a hindrance when buying higher end products, but as my skin is oily and started to break out I wanted to try something that will be higher quality and truly hydrate and lift my skin back to normal again.

What I love about Clinique that not many other skincare brands do is accommodate based on your skin type. They offer the same product but you can apply the right for you whether your skin is very dry, dry combination , combination only and of course oily. I apply this day and night over my face and neck and I have to admit it feels wonderful, its lightweight, hydrates your skin without feeling oily and really does leave it feeling smoother and softer, I have only been using this for two days and I'm in love already, looking forward to seeing results after a month.

After taking the gamble in purchasing this I will definitely invest in the entire skincare range, your skin always deserves a treat and its so important to look it.

Airbrush Concealer by Clinique

Recently I have been having trouble with my concealer, I was currently using True Match by L'oreal, I found it was lovely for most of my marks and blemishes but found under my eyes it left it looking cakey and not natural looking at all. So thought it was time to invest in another one, I love to make my appear brighter and vibrant and of course hide those dark circles!

This concealer does just that, this is only for your eye area only which is a bonus, its lightweight and light reflecting allowing to illuminate and perfects complexion it a definitely a make up must have! It is so easy to use, you can twist the base to push product out, try not to turn it too much as it can be easy to waste excess product.

I also bring this out of my eye area and to the side of my face and as well as my nose to help highlight and brighten those areas. Its so lovely.

So to help spread this on evenly I invested in some brushes....

Real Techniques Expert Face Brush

I have heard so much about these brushes and really wanted to try these for myself, I currently use Sigma brushes which I love already, but you can never have too many brushes right?

This is a face brush by real technique and currently sold in drugstores such as Superdrug and Boots. This brush is used for blending cream or liquid foundation. I use this for my concealer as I use a powder foundation, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised, the brush fibres are so soft and really does blend the product in well. For the price it does more than you can expect, if you cant afford brushes from Sigma or Zoeva for example then invest in these brushes from Real Technique, they work wonders.

Real Techniques Powder Brush

So I also couldn't resist in buying another brush, and this used for powders or mineral foundations. I use Studio Fix Powder Foundation from Mac and I love this brush, its soft and helps a little product blend a long way, and because the surface of the brush is pretty large you can only need to do a few strokes over the face to have the required coverage that is needed. Just like the face brush, its soft and feels so gentle to the skin.

Bobbi Brown Eyeshadow

I have not tried many of Bobbi Brown products, this is mainly down to the consistency especially their face products, found it was rather heavy and did not feel natural to the skin, but have heard great things about their eyeshadows, I was recommended to try these for my eyebrows, so invested in a dark brown shade, unfortunately it was too brown for my brows as they are rather dark so now use this for the crease of my eye to create further definition to the my eye make up.

It has great pigmentation and a little truly does go a long way, you don't need much and it blends really well with all eyeshadows or used on its own. I know this will last me for months, glad I've finally got a Bobbi Brown product to add to my make up collection.

Zoella 'Just say yes' Make up Bag

And lastly... I have finally purchased a product from the famous Zoella, who we all know and love. I have been eyeballing her products for ages, but never got the time to try anything out. I was always in love with her make up bags and when this one came out recently, its my favourite design out of the three and had to own one.

I really like it, its spacious, I can surely pack a lot in and is long enough for my brushes which is awesome, its a lovely make up bag to carry in your handbag and helps keep you organised and beautiful on the go!

So there are my purchases.... hope you like some of these and will hopefully get to try them out yourselves, remember its all about trial and error, its so exciting when you do discover a new favourite looking forward to finding more.

Have you discovered any lovely beauty treats?
