I think it is so tricky finding that perfect mascara to create a 'false' eyelash effect. I found it always came down to the brush rather than product itself, the brush it what helps create long, volume lashes. Lashes are a big part of my makeup even when I'm in a rush or wearing a minimal look this is one product I can never home without.
Even though they are so many great high end mascaras, from the famous Benefit Roller Lash to Bobbi Brown to be honest can we always afford them? I know I always can't (sobbing) BUT! there are affordable mascaras that work just as well sometimes better.
I wanted to share with you my Top Three Mascara that works absolute wonders.
I have mentioned this a couple of times in previous posts, but I am in love with this mascara, I was pretty much late in the game in finding this - but so glad I have. I love the wand, its slightly curved to allow you to grab all lashes, and whats fab it has 6 length bristles to touch even the smallest of lashes, the inside of the wand helps to create length as the back of the wand creates volume. I love the intensity as it creates dark black lashes and looks great with any make up look.
It has become one of my go to and my official top favourite.
This is a unique mascara, you can create two dramatic different looks all with this one mascara. The thinner brush creates length and can be worn on its own for a daytime look, if you want to create a bolder lash look, with a second coat using both brushes creates a bold intensified volumed look, its so buildable and does not leave that 'clumpy spider' affect.
This is perhaps my least favourite of the three, but it does the job just as well. This volume mascara makes your lashes visibly thicker and longer and what I do love about this - only one coat is required, of course everyone is different in terms of the end result so you can apply more if you wanted, but I usually grab this mascara when I'm on the go and don't have time to apply as it creates beautiful lashes within seconds. It also comes in a different tones of black it all depends on what intensity you like and comfortable with.
